    Cyrilia is a partner at Saunders Law & Head of the Public Inquiries team. Cyrilia is a specialist civil liberties, public law, human rights and police law solicitor. She has a long standing-commitment to protecting equality and access to Justice and has been instructed in the Grenfell Inquiry, the Infected Blood Inquiry and the Undercover Policing Inquiry.

    Leesher has over 18 years experience working in the professional beauty industry in London. She joined UNJUST because she believes the Criminal Legal System must change and become fair, transparent and accountable.

  • Alana Bryd

    Advisory Group

    As a dual national of both the US and the UK, Alana has been witness to infrastructural violence and its manifestations in both societies. She is in pursuit of a PhD in Anthropology at UCL to be able to effectively research the impacts of these manifestations. Prior to studying, Alana worked in property management. She is excited to make a true impact in the lives of those affected by systemic dysfunctions and prejudices in UK law.

    Shanell is currently a local government councillor in east London with a 20-year background in youth empowerment and local campaigning. She believes in listening to the issues faced and finding holistic solutions that do not contribute to the over-criminalisation of our youth.

  • Michael Magumbe

    Advisory Group

    Over 20 years of experience in solving real-world business problems using a wide variety of bespoke and analytical techniques. Michael has a strong finance background and assists UNJUST with financial planning and management.

  • Charlaine Nkum

    Advisory Group

    As a member of the Advisory Group, Charlaine brings her professional experience working in equity to the forefront. With an educational background in Human Rights and International Relations, she uses her passion and knowledge to empower those engaging with UNJUST. Charlaine believes that it is essential that discriminatory practices and policies are challenged and that individuals have better access to representation. Charlaine has been involved in various racial equality initiatives such as the Pan London Wide Race Inequality Task group.
